Summer dates suit well for outreach to children, but other opportunities are possible, depending on the availability of volunteers.

While in Michigan our plan is to:

Invest our time in practical training by meeting Muslim people face to face through prayer walks and literature distribution in Muslim neighborhoods, both which can lead to opportunities for conversation, and through befriending Muslim children and families in area city parks. 

Visit mosques as a way to meet Muslims and learn about their faith.

Gain exposure to different Muslim cultures. Experience the cultural foods of various people groups. 

Hear testimonies and life experiences of Christian workers laboring among Muslims, and learn about various ministry organizations and approaches to ministry among Muslims in the area. 

Have our own faith challenged and begin to think creatively about ministry among Muslim people in our own home areas, and how to pray for them.

By the end of this trip, we pray team members will have recognized and embraced ways God can use them and their churches, among Muslims. We have seen team members grow in their vision, identify and overcome cultural barriers, and move into meaningful outreach.

Approximately $700 per person which includes:

Hotel or Airbnb accommodations

Meals (except for when traveling to and from)

Literature: A contribution toward purchasing literature for distribution.

Permits: A contribution toward park permits for our outdoor ministry.

Additional costs:

Transportation - calculated on an individual basis in consultation with team leaders
