Eric Gardner

Eric Gardner was approved for a 2-year internship in France by the World Witness Board in December 2024. He joins a team of 7-8 church planters whose goal will be to plant four confessionally reformed churches in the Greater Paris area, within the next 10 years. Eric and the other church planters will begin as interns working under Rev. Samuel Foucachon, at La Chapelle de Nesle, a French Reformed church in central Paris that Samuel planted in 2012. They will also receive a seminary education from La Faculté Jean Calvin, a Reformed seminary in France. Upon completing seminary, the interns will be divided into pairs, ordained, and sent out to plant reformed churches on the North, South, East, and West sides of Paris. 

A member of First Presbyterian Church (ARP) Columbia, Eric graduated from the University of South Carolina, with a BA in Philosophy and a Minor in Music. He is fluent in French and during college, spent a summer in Lithuania, serving as an intern.
